We are currently looking for a Care Assistant to join our team.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: All other requests or follow-ups from the superior Create or modify staff work plans in the IT system Create, modify and archive resident files in the computer system Data entry for updating reports Ensure personnel management Follow up on residents during hospital returns Plan and carry out blood samples Plan and participate in the medical visit Produce work schedules and ensure staff replacement Validate the staff’s daily hours worked in the IT system (Agile) Health Care Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors’ home certification and the code of ethics Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors’ home certification and employer policies Collaborate in the follow-up of the medical dossiers, occasionaly arrange appointments and prescriptions for the residents Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents’ family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.) Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Member of the OIIAQ A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software High availability, evenings and weekends At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing with a minimum of 1 year in administration Nursing Management Experience Experience in personnel management Knowledge of the healthcare environment and related professions, a major asset A working knowledge of the software system Hopem (an asset) Know Symo software (an advantage) BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Uniform provided Free indoor parking Cellular provided Computer is provided Recognition program Access to internal professional services physiotherapy massage therapy aesthetic care Access to a doctor in case of emergency On-site blood test service Vacation Access to internal professional services accounting (taxes) notary financial advisor Human management approach Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts Challenging opportunities, up to your ambitions Consistent schedule Existing work tools Welcome and integration Program Recognition program Car wash service Indoor parking A welcoming and tight-knit team JOB STATUS: Permanent: Full Time JOB SCHEDULE: Day time
